Snedeker was en route to making a mess of the final hole.</p> <p> His drive found the light rough just off the right side of the fairway, but his second shot from 219 yards came up well short and found the hazard short of the green.</p> <p> Snedeker dropped and didn\'t hit his fourth the way he wanted, it stopped in some long grass in the front of the green, just under 40 feet short of the hole.</p> <p> He was staring directly at bogey and a two shot swing. "I always dreamed about starting like that for my first time on a college field. It was great to come out here and have a pretty good game."</p> <p> Bell became the first Michigan State freshman tailback to rush for 100 yards in his first collegiate game.</p> <p> "I\'m proud of myself," he said. "I put in a lot of hard work but I couldn\'t have done any without my offensive line. "Maybe it\'s because we don\'t have a preseason game against another team.
