Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Lindsay Lohan has been working hard since leaving rehab and has now signed on to star in a movie about Charles Manson. Lohan will play one of Manson's cult followers, Nancy Pitman, in the movie "Manson Girls" which will be produced by Brad Wyman.

Lohan, 21, just finished a big-screen role opposite Jared Leto in "Chapter 27." It was also about a murderer, just like the Charles Manson movie.

The actress has been staying busy since getting out of rehab last fall. She will also star in the upcoming Jack Black movie "Ye Olde Times" and is recording a new album.

Lohan told People.com that she doesn't see this as a comeback after being in rehab. "I think this is what I love to do. I'm just continuing to do it - in the right ways," she said.
