Chicago, IL (CNS) - "The Ophrah Winfrey Show" is being sued by a woman claiming she was injured when the audience rushed to find seats at the show's recording.

Orit Greenberg filed a $50,000 claim in damages after allegedly being pushed down a plight of stairs in December 2006 in the show's taping in the city of Chicago. Her "severe and permanent injuries" was said to be caused by the crowd in the studio which was not properly controlled by Harpo Studios staff.

Oprah's production company declined to make a statement on the allegations and said to the Associated Press that they do not make any statements about impending cases.

According to the legal documents that Greenberg filed, audience members were told to sit where ever they wanted, which led to the rush.
